NovaWave’s mission is to develop next-generation, laser-based chemical sensors for a wide range of civilian and military applications. NovaWave’s sensors will employ our cutting edge laser and photonics technologies, enabling commercially viable sensors with unprecedented detection sensitivity, chemical selectivity, precision, and accuracy. These fieldable, autonomous sensors will be suitable for numerous cross-cutting applications, including chemical and biological agent detection, trace explosives sensing, greenhouse gas and pollution monitoring, and basic and applied research. NovaWave presently offers enabling photonics tools, including high performance optical and fiberoptic components, turnkey, all-solid state laser sources for spectroscopy, and optical metrology instrumentation.
